Progress. As Development Communicators this is what we aspire to achieved and the starting point of this is to evaluate our strength and weaknesses first. By this we shall what skills and qualities we are already exceptional in and which do we need to improve and here is my take…
Among the qualities listed, which one do you need to work on most and why?
For me the quality that i need to improve a lot on is how to be more interested and passionate about people. Being an introvert myself I really have a hard time on mingling and talking to others which I know is very unusual thinking that I am in the field of communication but otherwise I am willing to improve myself for honing up my own development as well.
Given your ratings, what keeps you from getting that 1.00 self-rating?
I think the main reason why I cannot rate myself a 1.00 is because I believe that I am still starting my journey and as time passes by I know for sure that my evaluation could be improved.
Among the skills listed, which skill have you developed the highest competency? What contributed to the development of that skill?
For me I believe it is writing clearly and effectively even though I put a low rating because I already have a little background about campus journalism in highschool that I believe helped me a lot.
Among the skills listed, which skill would be the one you need to work on the most to develop? Why?
For me it will definitely be proficiency in the operation of communication tools/devices because even though I am a very techie person I am still not familiar on the apps and software to be used and I still don’t know much about editing.
And overall, I know that all of my ratings are just an initial view and critical view of what are really my capacity and what more should I challenge myself upon doing. After all this is just the beginning.
