Every one of us is a work in progress and that, of course, includes me. The importance of self-assessment is knowing your current standing and what you need to improve in order to be better. One thing I need to work on is my perseverance in doing certain tasks, for I tend to leave things be whenever I get mental-blocked or ‘exhausted’ until I forget about it and cram.
Procrastination is indeed something I need to kiss goodbye.
Being a BS Development Communication student, there are certain skills that you must possess; from gathering of data to having the utmost proficiency in the operation of communication tools/devices.
Among those skills, I could say that data gathering is one thing I can do best due to having the personal trait of being an observant person. The one that I need to work on the most is writing clearly and effectively. As a development communicator, it is the most essential characteristic a writer must possess and enhance in order to be deemed credible and great.
“Easy reading is damn hard writing.”
Nathaniel Hawthorne
My goal as a Development Communication student is to work on my writing skills, for I want my readers to be able to understand my works without feeling a single speck of confusion as they read.
