Chill Day

Life has tied us to the idea of productivity, accomplishment, and competency. Over time, our negligence towards our health pays us off with unwanted exhaustion and enervating will to live. We enslave our bodies to the fullest extent, and in return, we become slaves of stress and anxiety.

Over the years, I have acquired a deeper understanding of how one can attain endearing productivity without sacrificing its well-being. It’s in little things that we find joy; it is in appreciation that we bring off a sigh of relief against pressure and expectation; it is in the food that we treat ourselves that provides us the satisfaction of rewards. The long walks of adventitious thoughts, the energy to create memories with your special friends, and the twinge of happiness are some of the things that remind us of the feeling of being alive.

Let’s not take the chance away from ourselves to feel the warmth of comfort. Let’s not get tied up with only what we are blinded to do so. We may never have the gift of time to do all the things we desire to accomplish, but let us make time to unwind and feel alive in the limit of our existence.
