Should’ve

The semester’s about to end. Who would’ve thought we’d get this far? Looking back to all the ups and downs for the whole semester, it made me realize a lot of things. The journey ahead is still uncertain, but with all that I’ve experienced this semester, I know I can still stand up and keep on fighting until I reach my goal.

As a freshie, the hardest part is facing a lot of new phases in college. New friends, new priorities, and a new learning environment. Looking back, I may have regrets on what I should’ve done at the first days of being an iskolar ng bayan.

With that, here are five tips to my old self about what I should’ve tried before

Smiling won’t hurt!

I know it’s hard to meet new people and find new friends but smiling won’t hurt! Try to socialize and get to know new people who would make your first semester or even the your whole university life, special.

FUEL YOUR PASSION

Always fuel your passion and stay inspired in doing your craft. Things may be a little rough at some times, however, with a clear vision and passion, it will surely pay off in the end.

believe in yourself

Be your number 1 fan! Who would trust you if you couldn’t even believe in your own capabilities? Remove all the doubts and fears. It all starts with you, and all will follow.

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

It’s never wrong to step out of your comfort zone. As you start your college journey, a new chapter will begin. Thus, try something you’d be able to proud of. Make friends, attend different activities, stay curious.

breathe it all out

Rest is important. Give yourself time to think and breathe from everything. Clear your mind and soul. It’s okay to cry it all out. What’s important is the realization and drive that pushes you to do better and continue fighting.
