Looking back to me and my old self before I entered UP, I am pretty much aware that my journey as a freshman this first semester has been a taciturn of events. Its very nostalgic how time flies so fast and here I am sitted in a couch reminiscing everything. To be honest this had been the toughest 5 months of my life that left me mind wrecked but also gave me a lot of lessons.

So if ever I am going to give my old self advice it will be:

  1. Accept Failures. I am not perfect, and It happens to make me more humane. A failed test do not mean a failure in life but a lesson to do better next time.
  2. Always keep your head above water. Even though college works may be drowning we must always be composed and manage our time wisely
  3. Enjoy the little things. May it be a good quiz score up to a nice meal and a complete 8 hour sleep we should always value things that gives us smiles on our faces.
  4. Spend time with your blockmates. They are your second family and colleagues and besides you may not be with them the next semester you will miss them for sure so don’t miss out!
  5. Pray. Above anything else we should always remember to pray more. Academic is a priority but faith should always be intack.

All of these are just tips that I think I should have given my self notice and practiced more nevertheless my first semester has been a veri difficult mountain hike. What’s important is we should always start strong and finish strong.

At the end of the day we should always make ourselves proud!

Padayon!😊
