Your FUTURE is CREATED by what you do TODAY, not tomorrow.

The first semester has been a roller-coaster ride. It has given me a lot of realizations in life. Where I met different kinds of people and make them as my friends. It was full of adjustments, not just the environment but even the workload that I’ve got before. It was a semester full of opportunities and learning. Where it helps me be a better person. With that, here are some reminders and advice I wish I could tell my old self;
Set your priorities.
Think of the things that are needed. As you plan to make something about it, finishing your requirements ahead of time, read your supplements, prepare for your next classes. If you need to do it make a sacrifice because every sacrifice has a worth. Have a balance in your extracurricular and academics.
Have time for everything.
Do not procrastinate. Use your time wisely. It is better that you finished your requirements ahead of time rather than cram it because there is a big-time that is wasted and it is not productive.
Don’t be afraid of failures.
There will come a time that you have failed your quizzes or exams, accept it and move on. Do better and prepare ahead for it. Try to do an advance reading or rereading your notes. Do not be discouraged. Take your failure as learning, because it makes you a better person, but try to commit fewer mistakes.
Be industrious.
Strive to be your best every day. Think that you can. Do everything that can make your output, worth their time. Again, do not cram your outputs because some of them have the potential to be the best. Use your time for productivity not only for fun.
Enjoy the process.
As they say: “Mahaba haba pa lalakbayin mo.” As you go to different places, meet new people, the opening of new opportunities, go and take it. Because some of them will not be available or seen in the near future. Treasure every moment, may it be fun or sad because at the end of the day there is a learning in every moment.
