Continual improvement is unending journey.
Lloyd Dobens
Looking back from where it started…
On the beginning of the semester, we were asked to rate our qualities and skills as a media writer. Throughout the semester, we learned how to hone and use these qualities and skills during class discussions and exercises. Every week we got exposed to different mediums and how to write for these mediums and their audiences. Now that the semester has come to an end, I can say that I was able to apply all the lessons I’ve learned in this class.
The qualities that I have improved is was persevering because I didn’t give up easily, I just kept going to achieve the success I was aiming for. It also improves my resourcefulness because if I lack the equipment I make way to deliver my output. Puts premium on accuracy and truth because it builds my output better and credible.
The skills that I have developed is validating and clarifying the information because before I trust it and put it in my output I fact-check it first and check if it is real and it happened.
In general, I can say that my qualities and skills as a media writer have improved during the past weeks. With these Weekly Writes, I got to practice how to properly write, express, and communicate. Before I am so trying hard in writing. Now, I wanted to share that this activity really helped me to improve my skill and I am grateful for it. Last and final weekly write for the semester, but this is just the beginning of writing output for the college and the community.
