My hometown, Ibaan a second class municipality is a small municipality in the province of Batangas. Devcom Series: How to Chill

images

The period of adjusting from high school life to a life in university is pretty much a challenge for most freshman. They tend to be exposed in various activities which were far from what they used to be in their high school years. Heavy load of activities, readings and reports bombarded students in a way that they ought to forgot how to relax. Thus, drowning themselves to self-sacrificing sleepless nights with help of caffeine and energy drinks.

The eleventh edition of Buhay Devcom: How to Chill will show my top 3 things to done to free yourself from stress and provide relief from the adjustment period.

  1. Treat yourself with a good meal. For others it may be a common thing but for students that get used to living a university life with readings and report and even forgot to treat thyself. It is necessary that we spend some time eating our favorite food or eating at our favorite restaurant in this we can relax and enjoy while adjusting.
  2. Do your interest and hobbies. Others would say that the best way to enjoy university life is to learn while doing things that you love. It is indeed a luxury to find time doing something that suits your interest. Learn how to manage your time in a way that you balance school works and recreational activities. Recreational activities may also be an exercise in which exercising seems to relieve body stress.
  3. Spend time with your family or spend time with God. Family and God should not be a dichotomy when it comes to whom we should spend our time with. Let us lend some of our time especially during Sundays or Sabbath Day to spend it with our love ones if not possible, spend it with our friends and of course, never forget to strengthen the bond of our body and soul (which connects us to God).

Ano ‘yan, may pera ba jan?

Ano ba ang DevCom?

Ano ba trabaho mo pag-gradweyt mo, may pera ba jan?

These are the common questions I/we often receive as students of Development Communication. Even I myself cannot define it at first but not until I started learning what and how DevCom works. This short AVP is purposely crafted to help us answer those questions.

What is DevCom?

Even before I entered the university, a lot of people would ask me about my course. I would just respond in a short simple manner since I do not really have an in-depth knowledge about Development Communication. However, as the semester is gearing to an end, some of the most common questions about DevCom are already being answered and taken into account. We hope this video answers your questions and the questions of others as well.
